// The author

Brian Breslin

Brian has spent two decades building companies and mentoring the people who build them — students, side-project founders, and first-time operators in their first eighteen months.

The Venture Stack came out of that mentoring: the same conversation, hundreds of times, about ventures that were polished at the top and untested underneath. The framework is the map he wished he could hand every founder in the first meeting — six layers of claims, one founder bedrock, and a rule for finding the assumption that would collapse the most if it were wrong.

He writes and teaches at first-venture scale — nights-and-weekends runway, campus ventures, first SaaS — because that's where the framework got its inspiration.

// Why now

AI made articulating a venture nearly free. Evidence is the only scarce asset left.

You can reach contact with reality faster than any founder in history — which means the founders who win are the ones who know which claim to test first. That's the book.
